MOSA INDUSTRY AND GOVERNMENT SUMMIT & EXPO -- NATIONAL HARBOR, Maryland. Acquisition strategies designed to increase competition and enable multiple suppliers will be among the priorities at the MOSA Industry and Government Summit & Expo, scheduled for September 22-24 in National Harbor, Maryland.
The event will examine the modular open systems approach (MOSA) not only as a technical architecture but also as an acquisition and business strategy. Topics are expected to include setting MOSA requirements early in a program, making architecture decisions that support modularity, developing resilient supply networks, and creating acquisition pathways that allow components or subsystems to come from multiple sources.
Other summit priorities include making MOSA a core acquisition decision, modernizing acquisition processes, embedding modularity across programs, and operationalizing MOSA at scale. Technical sessions will also address areas including digital engineering, modular verification, and interoperability, while an Innovation Challenge and exhibition will highlight technologies intended to support open-architecture adoption across defense programs.
The MOSA Industry and Government Summit & Expo will bring together U.S. Army, Navy, and Air Force representatives as well as industry and technical organizations.
