XM30 combat vehicle prototype delivered to U.S. Army by General Dynamics

STERLING HEIGHTS, Michigan. General Dynamics Land Systems delivered its first Wolf XM30 mechanized infantry combat vehicle prototype to the U.S. Army at Aberdeen Proving Ground, Maryland, the company announced in a statement.
The prototype was delivered on August 21 and will be used by U.S. Army soldiers for testing as part of the XM30 program, the statement reads. The program is intended to field a new mechanized infantry combat vehicle for use by Army armored brigades.
The Wolf is General Dynamics Land Systems’ prototype offering for the XM30 program, according to the statement. The company designed and produced the vehicle ahead of its delivery to the Army for evaluation.
