PALO ALTO, Calif. Data-security firm Xage Security won a $17 million contract from the U.S. Space Force’s Space System Command (SSC) to help the Space Force achieve zero-trust access control and data protection across SSC’s current and next-generation ground and space architectures.

Millennium Space Systems (a Boeing company) announced that its Tetra-1 space vehicle -- launched in November 2022 in conjunction with the U.S. Space Force's Space Systems Command -- is ready for mission operations as it has successfully deployed the vehicle from its host, initialized all components and subsystems, and performed systems checkout while in super-geosynchronous (Super GEO) orbit.

REDONDO BEACH, Calif. Northrop Grumman reports that it is leveraging digital virtual-reality (VR) technology to refine the design and development of the Next-Generation Overhead Persistent Infrared (OPIR) Polar (NGP) satellites, which it is building for the U.S. Space Force’s Space Systems Command (SSC).

MCLEAN, Va. Communications company SpaceLink has signed a Cooperative Research and Development Agreement (CRADA) with the U.S. Army Space and Missile Defense Command Technical Center (USASMDC-TC -- Redstone Arsenal, Alabama) under which the partners will cooperate to explore alternative space communications pathways to ensure resiliency and reduce sensor-to-shooter latency.
