WARRENTON, Vir. Counter-uncrewed aerial system (C-UAS) company DroneShield announced that it installed and had accepted DroneSentry-X Mk2 C-UAS units on U.S. military infantry squad vehicles (ISVs) under its previously announced Joint Interagency Task Force 401 (JIATF-401) contract.

DroneSentry-X Mk2, according to the company announcement, enables vehicle-mounted detection and electronic countermeasure capabilities against uncrewed aerial threats as it is installed directly on the ISV.

The completed work marks initial operational capability (IOC) for the deployed technology; three additional DroneSentry-X Mk2 units are planned for installation under a recent modification to the contract.
