FALLS CHURCH, Virginia. General Dynamics Information Technology (GDIT) won a $510 million U.S. Army Communications Electronics Command (CECOM) task order to provide logistics, sustainment, maintenance, and hardware and software support for Army command, control, communications, cyber, intelligence, surveillance, reconnaissance, and medical (C5ISR-M) systems, the company announced in a statement.
The five-year Worldwide Field Support task order, awarded in July, includes one base year and four option years. GDIT will support current and future C5ISR-M equipment including radios, command-and-control systems, and environmental-control systems, according to the statement.
Work will include field maintenance and deployment of support personnel to 190 locations worldwide, including Army bases and installations. The task order is intended to support systems used by U.S. Army personnel and coalition forces and continues GDIT’s existing field-support work for CECOM.
