Electro-optical ISR and targeting payloads ordered by international customer from Elbit Systems

HAIFA, Israel. Elbit Systems won a contract worth about $270 million to supply electro-optical intelligence, surveillance, reconnaissance (EO/ISR), and targeting systems to an undisclosed international customer over a period of up to six years, the company announced in a statement.
The contracts cover systems from Elbit’s SPECTRO family of intelligence, surveillance, target acquisition, and reconnaissance (ISTAR) payloads, which combine mid-wave infrared (MWIR), visible-light, and short-wave infrared (SWIR) imaging channels with laser designation and artificial intelligence (AI)-based analytics, the statement reads. The systems are intended for target identification, tracking, and long-range intelligence collection across airborne, naval, and ground platforms.
Elbit will also provide airborne ISR and targeting systems from the SPECTRO family that integrate MWIR, visible, and SWIR sensors with image-processing and geo-pointing technologies, the company says. The systems are designed to support long-range target acquisition, surveillance, and geolocation missions.
