3U VPX single-board computer for tactical AI processing launched by EIZO

ORLANDO, Florida. EIZO Rugged Solutions introduced the Condor T5-IOX, a 3U VPX single-board computer (SBC) for artificial intelligence (AI) processing at the tactical edge aligned with the Sensor Open Systems Architecture, or SOSA, Technical Standard, the company announced in a statement.
The system is built around the NVIDIA IGX T5000 system-on-module and is designed for video ingest, sensor fusion, and AI processing in intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance (ISR), autonomous systems, and mission-computing applications, the statement reads.
The board supports four 12G-SDI inputs, USB 3.2, RS-232, DisplayPort, and four 25 Gigabit Ethernet connections, enabling it to ingest and process data from electro-optical/infrared sensors, radar, and communications systems, the company says.
EIZO states that the platform supports up to 128 GB of LPDDR5X error-correcting code memory, 2,560 CUDA cores, and up to 2,070 FP4 teraFLOPS of AI processing performance.
The Condor T5-IOX also supports GPU Direct remote direct memory access over Converged Ethernet for moving data between sensors, processors, and storage, according to the statement.
The board conforms to VITA 46 and VITA 65 specifications and is designed to meet MIL-STD-810 environmental requirements, the company says.
