CHELMSFORD, Mass. U.S. Navy officials ordered and additional $2 million of advanced Digital RF Memory (DRFM) jammers from the Mercury Defense Systems (MDS) subsidiary of Mercury Systems.

The orders, received in Mercury's fiscal 2015 third quarter, and are part of a contract award issued in 2010. The DRFM jammers are planned to be shipped by the end of the company's fiscal 2016 third quarter.

Mercury's DRFM products have been used for vulnerability assessment, self-protection, training, and radar environment simulation, Mercury officials say.
