JANUS Awarded Patent for Systems and Methods for Positional Tracking in a Virtual Reality System
January 12, 2021 (EVANS, GA) - JANUS Research Group (JANUS) has been granted a patent for systems and methods for positional tracking in a virtual reality system. The United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) has issued US Patent 10852832 covering design methods for positional tracking in virtual reality and training systems. This technology helps simplify and mobilize virtual training systems setup procedures, track movement that is out of view during training, and better train learners on interactive activities within virtual environments.
