Optronic sensor tech for U.S. Navy subs to be supplied by L3 KEO

NORTHAMPTON, Mass. L3 KEO, a subsidiary of L3Harris Technologies, will develop and test an optronic sensor technology for U.S. Navy submarines under the terms of a potential five-year, $135.8 million contract.
L3 KEO will supply engineering and technical support for submarines' photonic masts under the cost-plus-incentive-fee contract, according to a statement from the U.S. Department of Defense (DoD).
Contract work will take place in Northampton, Massachusetts, through June 2025.
