Government Agencies Commit to 5G Deployment

The DoD along with multiple other federal agencies are combining efforts to rapidly deploy 5G solutions in all areas of strategic development. 5G military applications will utilize ever-more sophisticated RF communications consisting of more complex modulations. This initiative demands accurate, reliable, and versatile testing equipment that is multifunctional without quality degradation. This paper will discuss the evolution of the network ecosystem to meet 5G demands, considerations for implementing these new technologies, key metrics for testing military communication systems and provide some examples of testing solutions.
