San Diego, Calif. Blue Sky Network has launched SkyLink, a dual-mode data-management configuration that can be used across land, air, sea, and IoT realms to capture and disseminate mission-critical information from any location and display it in a secure online portal.

Skylink is usable for a variety of remote, mobile, and global operations, according to Bryan Hartin, executive vice president, sales and marketing, for Iridium.

The lightweight hardware can be stacked and fit into any fixed-mount, portable, or mobile application and can be configured in a number of ways depending on mission type, requirements, and budget. The network will operate on both Iridium Certus and local GSM/LTE connectivity to ensure continuous end-to-end sensor reporting, asset utilization, IoT/M2M reporting, and two-way messaging.

The company expects to distribute the SkyLink hardware to users in September 2021.
