WICHITA, Kan. The U.S. Navy’s Training Squadron Two based at NAS Whiting Field in Milton, Fla. received Beechcraft Defense Co.’s T-6B military training aircraft. The aircraft marks its 900th delivery for the company on its T-6 series and represents the 224th T-6B military trainer delivered to the U.S. Navy as part of the Joint Primary Aircraft Training System (JPATS) program.

Beechcraft’s T-6B aircraft features Esterline CMC Cockpit 4000 avionics suite that expands training opportunities with an open architecture design that allows flexibility to meet current and future training needs.

The systems are integrated with Hands-On Throttle and Stick (HOTAS) technology and the avionics suite incorporates a FAA-certified dual FMS/GPS navigation suite that meets the required navigation performance standards for current worldwide airspace equipment.
