Rugged Ethernet I/O provides a high-density solution for interfacing many signals to remote I/O or embedded systems

Eletter Product

EtherStax high-density I/O blocks are designed for high-reliability operation and process up to 96 I/O channels on a single, stackable unit. A variety of models are available to perform A/D, D/A, and discrete level monotoring and control functions with an Ethernet Modbus TCP/IP interface.

Rugged, Industrial-Grade Design

Units feature an extended operating temperature range, 4-way isolation and surge protection. The rugged aluminum enclosures protect against shock and vibration. I/O circuitry has over-temperature, over-voltage, and over-current protection. Redundant communication paths and redundant DC power connections help prevent downtime on critital applications. If network communication is lost, outputs fail safely and a relay provides local alarming or shutdown functions.

Features

  • Up to 96 digital I/O or 64 analog I/O channels in a single unit.
  • Modbus TCP/IP or UDP/IP communication to host controller.
  • High-speed channel updates
  • Peer-to-peer i2o communication allows inputs to one unit to automatically update outputs on another over Ethernet media without a host computer
  • Dual 100/100Base-T(X) copper or 100Base-FX fiber optic ports
  • Web-based configuration simplifies setup with any web browser
  • Operating temperature: -40 to 70°C (-40 to 158°F)
