Designed to provide ground vehicles with access to assured positioning, navigation, and timing (A-PNT) information while operating in conditions with limited, impeded, or denied GPS/GNSS, the DBH-670A is rapidly deployable and size, weight, and power (SWaP)-optimized for space-constrained platforms. This innovative integrated system enables system designers to replace multiple legacy LRUs with a single, upgradeable compact unit, packing a multi-functional vehicle computer, a powerful Gigabit Ethernet (GbE) switch, and a power-efficient Arm computer.

To meet the demands of today’s challenging environments, the DBH-670A, based on the modular open systems approach (MOSA), also packs pre-integrated Vehicle Integration for C4ISR/EW Interoperability (VICTORY) software. This provides VICTORY Data Bus and Platform services, including Management, Access Control, Data Protection, and network distribution of GPS/IMU data such as time, position, orientation, heading, speed, and more. Additionally, the unit possesses a GPS-disciplined Chip Scale Atomic Clock (CSAC), that serves as an excellent high-performance, low-skew clock master. An optional internal GPS receiver provides additional SWaP savings.

Boasting a non-blocking switch fabric, the DBH-670A’s 16-port Ethernet switch provides tri-speed operation (10/100/1000 Mbps) with auto-negotiation and auto MDIX. Its feature-rich networking includes support for IPv4/v6, VLANs, IGMP multicast, QoS, MSTP/RSTP, link aggregation, port mirroring, and jumbo frames. Full support for hardware-based Precision Time Protocol (IEEE-1588v2) is also featured, maximizing swift and accurate network synchronization.
