Northrop Grumman and NEC enter into cybersecurity collaboration agreement

FALLS CHURCH, Va. NEC Corp. and Northrop Grumman have entered into a collaboration agreement to deliver the Japan-Cyber Operations Research, Training, and Experimentation (J-CORTEX) system, a cloud-based cyber range that emulates customer's environments for training and testing purposes.
Under this collaboration, Northrop Grumman's cyber range will be added to NEC's Cybersecurity factory. The collaboration also includes Mitsubishi Corp., where J-CORTEX will ensure that government networks are protected against modern adversaries.
In addition to hosting cyber exercises, J-CORTEX serves as an educational and research environment to protect systems and networks from cyber attackers.
