PARIS--EUROSATORY 2022. Battlefield-systems integrator Rheinmetall will debut a number of new technologies at the Eurosatory 2022 exhibition -- slated to run June 13-17 in Paris -- including an updated tank, an augmented-reality system, and a line of light airborne vehicles.

Rheinmetall reports that it will show for the first time its KF51 main battle tank, the newest member of its family of tracked armoured fighting vehicles, which the company says will deliver enhanced lethality, survivability, mobility, networkability and reconnaissance.

The company will also display its Rheinmetall Technology Cube, which aims to use cutting-edge technology, including augmented reality, to conduct a dialogue with users and procurement officials when developing next-generation combat vehicles.

The company is also showing its airborne vehicle family -- manufactured together with Mercedes-Benz and ACS Armoured Car Systems -- a family of 4.4 vehicles intended for use in light airmobile and special operations units; a new group of "Natter" remote-controlled weapons stations that use high-performance sensors; its newly developed LUNA NG (Next Generation) unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV), designed for unmanned aerial reconnaissance, classification, and recognition of objects in real time; and its Robotics-L walking robot and Mission Master models SP and XT.

Eurosatory showgoers may visit Rheinmetall at Stand F241-240.
