ATLANTA, GA. A new single-board computer (SBC) for military applications from Trenton Systems ? the BXT7059 -- integrates the Intel Xeon processor E5-2400 family Intel C604 chipset into a dual-processor, PICMG 1.3 design.

The BXT7059 options include processors that have 8, 6 or 4 execution cores per device. PCI Express links directly out of the SBC’s processors, which are capable of supporting PCI Express 3.0, 2.0, and 1.1 system I/O card interfaces. The new Trenton device also supports enhancements such as Intel Turbo Boost, Intel Advanced Management Technology, as well as Intel Advanced Vector Extensions.

The BXT7059 provides additional performance and faster I/O card interfaces combined with the longevity necessary for the long deployment cycles in military applications, Michael Bowling, Trenton Systems President.

Each Trenton PICMG 1.3 SBC has a five-year factory warranty. For more information, visit www.trentonsystems.com.
