Army helicopter maintenance contract awarded to Lockheed Martin

DALLAS. Lockheed Martin won an aircraft maintenance and logistics contract from the U.S. Army Contracting Command at Redstone Arsenal, AL, to deliver field and sustainment-level maintenance for U.S. Army helicopters.

The contract includes modification, repair, reset, and additional sustainment efforts needed for the AH-64, CH-47, UH-60, and OH-58 helicopters. The $5 million initial contract funding is for transition efforts and program management.

Lockheed Martin engineers will head the Army’s Regional Aviation Sustainment Maintenance Central Operations at Fort Campbell, KY, headquarters of the 101st Airborne Division (Air Assault) and 160th Special Operations Aviation Regiment.
