The Chameleon data acquisition (DAQ) software solution was built to provide power and flexibility with an easy-to-use interface. The tool is compatible with a wide variety of National Instruments controllers and data-acquisition modules so users can configure a system to meet their specific application requirements.
Chameleon’s features include quick setup and operation; mixed sensor configurations including microphones, accelerometers, bridge sensors, thermocouples, RTDs, and current sensors; and single or multiple chassis configurations using MXI, USB, or Ethernet with cross-chassis time synchronization. It also enables data visualization including multiple traces and graphs, with live or prerecorded data. The system also features data logging at a rate less than the sample rate with on-the-fly logging rate update plus automatic retriggering for repeated measurements with incremental data file naming.
