SAIC wins C4ES task order worth $621 millionNews

RESTON, Va. U.S. General Services Administration (GSA) Federal Systems Integration and Management Center officials selected Science Applications International Corp. (SAIC) for a task order under the U.S. Central Command (USCENTCOM) Command, Control, Communications, and Computers Enterprise Support (C4ES) worth approximately $621 million.
Under contract, SAIC will provide information technology (IT) support services to the J6 Directorate, including network operations and maintenance; telephony, cable and communications infrastructure systems and server maintenance; helpdesk and desktop support; audio/visual and wireless technology; executive communications support; IT training; software and network engineering; defensive cyber operations; enterprise architecture; inventory management; knowledge management; and surge support.
The task order awarded under the GSA Alliant Government-wide Acquisition Contract vehicle is a single-award contract that has a one-year base period of performance, four one-year options, and two one-year performance-based term periods. Work will be performed primarily at MacDill Air Force Base in Tampa, Florida, CENTCOM Forward Headquarters (CFH) in Doha, Qatar, and in multiple international locations as required.
The USCENTCOM mission is to direct and enable military operations and activities with allies and partners to increase regional security and stability in support of enduring U.S. interests. The J6 Directorate oversees USCENTCOM’s IT services. Its mission is to effectively and efficiently enable information sharing anytime, anywhere through a Joint and C4 Network-Centric Environment that is flexible, redundant, reliable, secure, and protected.
