Rugged remote data concentrator (RDC) systems offer a proven solution for acquiring information in real time with no NRE Model RDC-35CP0B
Eletter ProductRugged Remote Data Concentrators
Remote data concentrators (RDCs) process and format aircraft sensor data into a common digital output that is delivered to avionic computers and cockpit displays. NAI’s off-the-shelf RDC-35CP0B is based on flexible I/Os and diverse configurations that handle a host of sensor inputs and other avionics functions in modern military aircraft. It’s the central nervous system in modern avionics as it creates a data hub for processing discrete, analog and digital inputs from various aircraft systems.
NAI’s 3U cPCI, 5 slot chassis RDCs are primarily designed for specific avionics systems like fixed-wing, rotorcraft and unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) platforms. The rugged, pre-configured systems are ideally suited to support a multitude of mil-aero applications that offer packed acquisition / measurement capability; A/D, D/A, RTD, Thermocouple, Discrete I/O as well as Serial, ARINC 429/575 and CANBus for sensor interface or subsystem communications. The RDCs can be deployed quickly with no NRE costs and are also a perfect fit for mil-aero applications where compact, low-power systems are required.
With its adaptable and modular Custom-On-Standard Architecture™ (COSA™), NAI’s integrated RDCs seamlessly integrate with its intelligent, user-selected, multifunction I/O modules which contain the highest packaging density and greatest flexibility of any multifunction I/O modules in the industry. COSA enables the delivery of interoperable and field-proven systems (or subsystems) designed to withstand the rigors of harsh environments.
The RDC-35CP0B leverages NAI’s 3U cPCI boards and provides an off-the-shelf configured solution that accelerates deployment of SWaP-optimized systems in harsh air, land and sea applications.
