U.S. Army awards potential $112 million follow-on munitions logistics contract

RESTON, Va. Science and technology contractor Leidos will continue to provide logistics services to the 1st Theater Sustainment Command (TSC) in support of U.S. Army Central (ARCENT), the Army component of U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM).

Leidos has supported munitions storage and resupply efforts for ARCENT since 2011 by operating the 1st TSC's Theater Storage Area and Ammunition Supply Point activities, including accountability for and distribution of ammunition stocks. Under the follow-on contract, Leidos will handle receipt, storage, maintenance, issue, and distribution of ammunition.

The terms of the single-award cost-plus fixed-fee/cost-plus incentive-fee contract call for a one-year base period of performance, five one-year options, and a total contract value of approximately $112 million.

Work under this contract will be performed in Kuwait.
