The global market for electronic warfare (EW), valued at $14.4 billion in 2016, will grow at a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 3.13 percent to reach $19.6 billion by 2026, according to analysts from ASDReports. Cumulatively, the global market for electronic warfare is expected to reach $184.1 billion over the forecast period.

Raytheon, UMass granted $1.9 million to research flexible RF devices for GPS - News

Raytheon Integrated Defense Systems and University of Massachusetts Lowell have received a grant of $1.9 million to advance the commercialization of flexible hybrid radio-frequency (RF) electronics that are aimed at use in military global positioning systems (GPS), among other applications.

Navy awards BAE $192 million contract for post-construction work on Zumwalt-class ships - News

ARLINGTON, Va. The U.S. Navy has awarded BAE Systems an indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity contract to perform post-construction work aboard the guided-missile destroyers USS Zumwalt (DDG 1000) and USS Michael Monsoor (DDG 1001).
The contract's initial award is worth $10.3 million and carries a maximum value of $192.7 million for work performed through September 2021.

Raytheon Missile Systems has secured a contract from the U.S. Air Force to continue production of vehicles and support equipment for the Miniature Air Launched Decoy Jammer (MALD-J), a low-cost, air-launched programmable craft that can deceive opponents' radars and air-defense systems by duplicating all combat flight profiles and aircraft radar signatures.

Avenger UAV makes initial flight - News

POWAY, Calif. General Atomics Aeronautical Systems (GA-ASI) announced that it has completed the initial flight of its Avenger Extended Range (ER) unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV), an extended-range version of its multimission jet-powered Predator C Avenger craft, which has accumulated over 13,000 flight hours to date. GA-ASI says that the flight took place on October 27th at the company's Gray Butte Flight Operations Facility in Palmdale, California.

ARLINGTON, VA. The U.S. Navy has awarded BAE Systems a $36.7 million contract to perform repairs and maintenance on the amphibious transport dock ship USS New Orleans (LPD 18). The work will be done at BAE Systems' new dry dock in San Diego.
