Curtiss-Wright Defense Solutions expands flight test instrumentation & data acquisition portfolio

ASHBURN, Va. Curtiss-Wright Corp. officials announced their intention to acquire Teletronics Technology Corp. (TTC) for $233 million in cash. The acquisition is expected to close in early 2017 and remains subject to regulatory approval and other closing conditions. TTC will operate under the company's Defense Solutions division.
TTC - based out of Newtown, Pensilvania - has approximately 225 employees and is expected to generate sales of approximately $65 million mainly in the aerospace and defense market in 2016. The companyis a designer and manufacturer of high-technology data acquisition and flight test instrumentation (FTI) systems for aerospace and defense applications. Officials explain that the addition of TTC’s platform test product portfolio will expand the company's Defense Solutions division’s FTI, usage monitoring, and space-qualified commercial-off-the-shelf (COTS) products and services.
