Synturian product family of control and collaboration tech introduced at AUSA by Textron Systems

WASHINGTON. Officials at Textron Systems Unmanned systems introduced the Synturian ? part of the Ground Control Station (GCS) family of products. It is a family of multi-domain control and collaboration technology that enables enhanced situational awareness.
The product family includes the Synturian Control and Synturian Remote. Synturian Control is a multi-platform, multi-vehicle, multi-domain control system that enhances collaboration and dissemination of information. Synturian Remote includes mobile, network-strengthened tools that enhance situational awareness through timely information and collaboration.
Engineers designed the Synturian family of products around a service-oriented architecture for integration of off-the-shelf software. It has an intuitive interface that enables training and logistics.
Textron Systems officials say they are integrating the Synturian family of products with its own unmanned aircraft systems, including the Shadow Tactical Unmanned Aircraft System (UAS) and the Aerosonde small UAS. They plan to also integrate the products with its own unmanned surface system, the Common Unmanned Surface Vessel (CUSV).
Synturian Remote has completed a demonstration of its remote terminal capabilities with Shadow, Aerosonde, and Textron Aviation’s missions platforms.
