AUSTIN. National Instruments (NI) and Astronics Test Systems ? a wholly owned subsidiary of Astronics Corporation ? collaborated to introduce the Rubidium/GPS Frequency Standard Test Instrument, PXIe-3352, which combines a rubidium oscillator with a GPS receiver into a one, precision instrument.

Officials announced the collaboration at this year’s NI Week, also stating the PXIe-3352 is expected to be available later this year as it is still in development now.

This is the second product collaboration between NI and Astronics. Officials say it’s the first test instrument to combine a PXI rubidium source with GPS assist technology. To preview the product, visit http://www.astronicstestsystems.com/product/pxie-3352
