JAPAN. Japan’s Coast Guard completed flight testing of Raytheon Intelligence & Space (RI&S), a Raytheon Technologies business, maritime surveillance technologies onboard a General Atomics Aeronautical Systems, Inc. (GA-ASI) SeaGuardian Remotely Piloted Aircraft (RPA). RI&S provided its SeaVue Expanded Mission Capability (XMC) radar and AN/DAS-4 Multi-spectral Targeting System for the tests.

EL SEGUNDO, Calif. Raytheon Space and Airborne Systems has won a $34.2 million contract from the U.S. Navy for engineering and test support services for the AN/ALQ-249 Next Generation Jammer (NGJ), currently in development for the Navy EA-18G Growler aircraft.

Raytheon Space and Airborne Systems has received a $48.77 million modification to a previously awarded firm-fixed-price contract to produce, test, and deliver fully integrated Navy multiband terminals (NMT), which are multiband capable satellite communications terminals that enable protected and wideband communications.

TUCSON, Ariz. Raytheon Missiles & Defense, a Raytheon Technologies business, has announced the StormBreaker smart weapon has been approved for use on the F-15E by the U.S. Air Force's Air Combat Command. The fielding decision means that F-15E squadrons can now be equipped with StormBreaker and deployed for missions, according to Raytheon.

DARPA’s Persistent Aquatic Living Sensors (PALS) program aims to leverage how marine organisms observe changes in their environment through sensing to augment the Department of Defense’s (DoD) existing, hardware-based maritime monitoring capabilities. The program, launched in November 2018, is now entering its second phase.
