EL SEGUNDO, Calif. Raytheon Intelligence & Space has won a $67 million contract with the U.S. Space Force to demonstrate an electro-optical/infrared (EO/IR) weather system (EWS) prototype that is expected to deliver operational data for the U.S. Space Force’s Space Systems Command.

Raytheon Intelligence & Space (RI&S -- a Raytheon Technologies business) won a $17.5 million ID/IQ contract from the U.S. Army to provide improved Mode 5 and ADS-B surveillance capabilities for safe airspace engagement with its "Identification Friend or Foe" (IFF) transponders and cryptographic technologies.

Curtiss-Wright Corporation announced that it won a contract by Raytheon Technologies to provide its rugged Modular Open Systems Approach (MOSA)-based processor and networking modules for use in the Next Generation Special Mission Processor (NextGen SMP). WASHINGTON. The U.S. Air Force (USAF) made progress on the joint U.S.-Australia effort to develop an air-breathing hypersonic cruise missile, with the USAF issuing round-two contract options to Boeing and Lockheed Martin as the next step of the so-called Southern Cross Integrated Flight Research Experiment (SCIFiRE), and an additional separate contract with Raytheon.
