WASHINGTON. The U.S. Air Force has chosen five small businesses to participate in a potential five-year, $950 million contract vehicle to research and develop cyber technology platforms.

The awardees are Global InfoTek (Reston, Virginia), Radiance Technologies (Huntsville, Alabama), Assured Information Security (Rome, New York), CNF Technologies (San Antonio, Texas), and Invictus International Consulting (Alexandria, Virginia).

These five contractors -- chosen from a group of 22 companies competing for a spot on the Air Force's Agile Cyber Technology 2 contract -- will support the Air Force Research Lab, its product centers, and the operational community in efforts to prototype, build, demonstrate, evaluate, and transition cyberplatforms. Work under the contract will occur at each awardee's facility through April 2023.
