Liquid Robotics and Boeing join hands for autonomous maritime solutions

SUNNYVALE, Calif. Officials at Boeing and Liquid Robotics agreed to collaborate on product development, maritime services, and operational deployments under a multi-year teaming agreement.

Initially the team will focus on developing total integrated solutions for anti-submarine warfare, maritime domain awareness, and other maritime defense applications.

The agreement combines Boeing Defense, Space & Security’s experience in multi-layered intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance (ISR) solutions with Liquid Robotics’ autonomous ocean technology.

Liquid Robotics is an ocean drone builder focused on providing fleets of networked, naturally powered robots carrying sensor payloads. Their Wave Glider ocean drones enable ocean observation, data collection, and monitoring. For more information, visit www.liquidr.com or www.boeing.com.
