TAIPEI. Aetina Corp. is set to introduce a solar-powered unmanned ground vehicle (UGV) -- based on the Aetina Jetson edge artificial intelligence (AI) computing platform, powered by Nvidia Jetson AGX Xavier -- that is aimed at use in battlefront, emergency, and difficult-to-access situations.

According to information from Aetina, the UGV sports multiple cameras; can carry a full suite of I/O including thermal and infrared sensor inputs, plus metal-detection capabilities; and includes a GPS tracker plus a remote monitoring system connected to its AI ecosystem.

It also saves on power, as it operates using the best solar zenith angle and storing the solar energy for night illumination.

For additional information on this UGV, visit Aetina at the DSEI 20 event, to be held in London September 10-13, at booth S4-205.
