New 3U OpenVPX solution released by Pixus

WATERLOO, Ontario. Engineers at Pixus Technologies designed new 3U OpenVPX backplanes that come in a 5-slot mesh topology version and 6-slot device with a distributed topology.
Both backplanes are designed for speeds ranging from 3.125 Gbaud/s to 6.25 Gbaud/s and also come with or without RTM connectors. The Pixus OpenVPX backplane product line consists of various VITA 65 compliant backplane profiles that also meet VITA 46 specifications. The 3U and 6U backplanes may be designed to specific customer profiles. Options for the VPX backplane products include integrating VME64x slots (for 6U versions), different power configurations, conformal coating, signal connections per VITA 66, and more. Industrial and MIL/rugged chassis solutions also are available.
