NATIONAL HARBOR, Md. Under the U.S. Air Force Combat Rescue Helicopter (CRH) program, Sikorsky selected Rockwell Collins to provide cockpit flight and mission display systems, navigation radios, and the ARC-210 V/UHF communication system for the aircrafts.

The avionics system will help reduce workload for the pilots in a CRH mission, while the mission displays are compliant with the night vision imaging system standards and the ARC-210 will provide secure voice communications as well a civil interoperability (APCO-25), company officials say.

Under the CRH Engineering and Manufacturing Development contract awarded in 2014, Sikorsky was selected to develop up to four helicopters, seven training systems, and to provide initial product support including production options to field 112 HH-60W helicopters that is expected to replace the HH-60G aircrafts.
