Beachhead system supports M-Code PNT architecture

WASHINGTON. The Defense Solutions division at Curtiss-Wright announced at the AUSA 2015 show that its second-generation DuraDBH-672 Digital Beachhead Gigabit Ethernet (GbE) switch and vetronics computer subsystem now supports the Military Code (M-Code) Position, Navigation, and Timing (PNT) architecture.

It addresses the U.S. Army’s GPS modernization programs for a PNT hub capable of delivering PNT to multiple devices on a VICTORY network backbone by supporting an integrated M-Code Ground-Based GPS Receiver Applications Module (GB-GRAM-M).

The Beachhead variants combine a VICTORY infrastructure switch and a VICTORY shared services processor. It also has GigE switching and VICTORY data bus, management, and shared service support.
