Raytheon Blackbird Technologies selected for Special Forces mission support contract

DULLES, Va. Raytheon Blackbird Technologies won the U.S. Special Operations Command(SOCOM)-Wide Mission Support (SWMS) contract to provide program management and technical services to special operations forces (SOF) around the world.
The Group A contract has a five-year ordering period and is designed for large companies to work as prime contractors. It is a multiple award contract with an indefinite-delivery, indefinite-quantity totaling an estimated value of $900 million.
Raytheon Blackbird Technologies, a subsidiary of Raytheon Co., is currently under a Warfighter FOCUS contract with the U.S. Army SOF providing an immersive training environment with exercise support personnel and equipment.
