Cybersupport contract for Navy threat-engineering team signed with Systems Engineering Group

COLUMBIA, Md. Systems Engineering Group (SEG) -- a wholly owned subsidiary of Telephonics Corp. -- has won a threat-engineering task order worth $119 million from the Naval Surface Warfare Center Dahlgren Division (NSWCDD).
Under the terms of the contract, SEG will provide threat-based engineering services including combining intelligence analysis, physics-based modeling, simulation development, and software integration intended to support the development and testing of combat systems and weapons.
SEG will also handle development of system requirements, algorithm design, and analysis of engineering performance related to integrated air and missile defense, counterhypersonics, space sensing and surface/subsurface warfare for sensors, weapons, and integrated weapon systems.
