The original award started in 2006, with the modification the contract is now extended another year and has an estimated value of $550 million.

USS Iwo Jima to enter phased maintenance period with BAE Systems - News

ARLINTON, Va. BAE Systems has been selected to implement a phased maintenance contract for the USS Iwo Jima (LHD 7), a Wasp-class amphibious assault ship, which is scheduled to begin August 2015 and to conclude by July 2016. The contract’s value is estimated to be $26.8 million, however, if all options are exercise it could be worth up to $32.6 million.

ARLINGTON, Va. BAE Systems has been selected to convert 36 M88A1 recovery vehicles to the M88A2 Heavy Equipment Recovery Combat Utility Lift Evacuation Systems (HERCULES) configuration in a contract with the U.S. Army with an estimating value of $110.4 million.
