ST. LOUIS, Mo. BAE Systems reports that the U.S. Air Force (USAF) cleared its new F-15 electronic warfare (EW) system for full-rate production as part of the $615.8 million (USAF) contract with Boeing to install the Eagle Passive Active Warning Survivability System (EPAWSS).

BAE Systems reports that the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA) awarded it a five-year, indefinite-deliver/indefinite quantity (ID/IQ) contract worth $347 million to as part of NERVE [the National System for Geospatial-Intelligence (NSG) Enterprise Repository and Virtual Environment] program.

ROME, Italy. Eurofighter and the NATO Eurofighter and Tornado Management Agency (NETMA) signed a contract for up to 24 Eurofighter Typhoon aircraft for the Italian Air Force, according to a statement from Leonardo, which developed the fighter along with Airbus and BAE Systems

WAYNE, N.J. Data Link Solutions (DLS) -- a joint venture between BAE Systems and Collins Aerospace -- won a large award from the U.S. Navy for the Multifunctional Information Distribution System Joint Tactical Radio System (MIDS JTRS). 

MERRIMACK, NH. BAE Systems' FAST Labs research and development organization agreed to a $6 million contract with the U.S. Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA) as part of the DARPA Pipelined Reasoning of Verifiers Enabling Robust Systems (PROVERS) program, which is aimed at further securing software development across the U.S. Department of Defense (DoD). 

WASHINGTON. The U.S. Department of Commerce finalized two separate awards under the CHIPS and Science Act's Incentives Program’s Funding Opportunity for Commercial Fabrication Facilities: The Commerce Dept. awarded BAE Systems Electronic Systems (a business unit of BAE Systems) as much as $35.5 million in direct funding and awarded Rocket Lab (the parent company of space power provider SolAero Technologies Corp.) as much as $23.9 million in direct funding.

AUSTIN, Texas. BAE Systems won a follow-on contract from the U.S. Army to further develop its Multi-Class Soft Kill System (MCSKS) countermeasures, which aim to enhance the survivability of ground combat vehicles against guided missiles and nearby threats, the company announced in a statement.
