The German procurement authority BAAINBw [Federal Office of Bundeswehr Equipment, Information Technology and In-Service Support] has selected HENSOLDT to deliver a second batch of its TRS-4D Rotator naval radar and its MSSR 2000 ID friend-or-foe identification system (IFF) to equip the German navy?s K130 corvettes.

MUNICH, Germany. The Royal Australian air force, through the Department of Defense, purchased nine ASR-NG based Fixed Defence Air Traffic Control Surveillance Sensors and one Operational Maintenance Trainer (OMT) from HENSOLDT. The purchase order is for the FDATCSS program, which is also referred to as AIR 5431 Phase 2. Engineers completed the second Final System site installation joining one Interim System and another already installed Final System.

ROME. Hensoldt and Leonardo officials signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to offer Mode-5 Identification Friend or Foe (IFF) solutions to customers. Leonardo and Hensoldt - formerly known as Airbus DS Electronics and Border Security - will work together as "Team Skytale."
