CHANTILLY, Va. Perspecta Inc. has won the Secret Internet Protocol Router Network (SIPRNet) Enterprise Modernization program from the United States Air Force Enterprise Information Technology and Cyber Infrastructure Division of the Command, Control, Communications, Intelligence and Networks (C3I&N) Program Executive Office (PEO).

The award -- which is aimed at transforming and standardizing the network's infrastructure to improve management operations and ensure security compliance -- will run for five years and have a maximum ceiling value of $162 million if all contract line items are exercised.

Under the terms of the contract, Perspecta will design, develop, deploy, and integrate a single infrastructure and active directory domain for the U.S. Air Force; and will operate, manage, and sustain the functionality of the system for the duration of the program. Every Air Force base will be tasked to use the single management architecture to meet security requirements and maintain required standard updates in order to defend against persistent network attacks and cyberthreats.
