LOWELL, Mass. Northrop Grumman and M/A-COM Technology Solutions Holdings, Inc. (MACOM) have entered into a teaming agreement that establishes MACOM as the exclusive partner to develop and manufacture radar arrays using MACOM’s active antenna technology, targeting defense programs and platforms.

In this agreement, MACOM and Northrop Grumman agree to collaborate on systems that are cost-effective and offer customers increased system performance, officials say.

“This teaming agreement is a major step towards reducing our active antenna vision to commercial practice, while working with one of the industry’s leading defense prime contractors,” says Jack Kennedy, Senior Vice President and General Manager, Aerospace and Defense, MACOM.
