Tactical-radar components from Mercury Systems get $14 million order

ANDOVER, Mass. Mercury Systems has received a $14 million order from a leading defense prime contractor for digital-signal-processing modules that are intended for deployment in a multimode tactical radar application.
According to the announcement from Mercury Systems, the modules' advanced processing capability can deliver earlier threat warnings by equipping the airborne radar with the ability to detect stealthier threats from farther away.
The order was booked in Mercury's fiscal 2021 first quarter and is expected to be shipped over multiple quarters.
