Vorago Technologies’ VA10820 ARM Cortex-M0 microcontroller chips use the company’s patented HARDSlL hardening technology to enable use of the parts in extreme radiation environments. The VA10820 includes error detection and correction (EDAC) logic on the internal memories; the EDAC is byte-based to boost performance and reliability. In addition, the VA10820 includes triple modular redundancy (TMR) with voting on all internal flip-flop storage elements.
The VA10820 ARM Cortex-M0 microcontroller chip’s performance is clocked at 50 MHz. It features on-chip memory, 56 general-purpose I/O (GPIO) pins, 24 general-purpose counter/timers, two UARTS, three serial peripheral interface (SPI) ports, two I2C ports, system-level triple modular redundancy (TMR) on all internal registers, 3.3 V I/O supply, and 1.5 V core supply.
