Integrated vehicle health & monitoring systems
Eletter ProductApplication Ready Integrated Vehicle Health & Monitoring Systems - With no NRE
North Atlantic Industries’ IVHM Series is a line of preconfigured Integrated Vehicle Health & Monitoring systems, ideally suited to meet requirements in harsh, remote locations where compact, low-power systems are required. The IVHM systems support the collection and transmission of information regarding a vehicle’s status, condition and performance. This provides capability for generating early warning maintenance signals, enhances vehicle safety, reduces man-power and maintenance costs, and improves vehicle readiness.
NAI’s IVHM systems offer hardware baselines for:
- Fault detection and diagnostics for improved safety and reduced cost of maintenance
- Proactive maintenance and failure prevention for improved availability through better maintenance scheduling
- Data management for improved reliability through better understanding of current vehicle health
The IVHM Series combines a range of sensor interfaces within a single hardware platform to support around-the-clock intelligent capabilities such as status monitoring, diagnostics and prognostics on critical mission, air, land and sea applications. The application-ready IVHM Series supports a multitude of mil-aero applications that require high-density, multi-channel, programmable, Discrete I/O, and Thermocouple with Serial ARINC 429/575 and CANBus Communications. See each IVHM system for exact module complement.
The IVHM Series is built on NAI’s unprecedented, highly adaptive, Custom-On-Standard Architecture™ (COSA®). COSA’s modular approach delivers more intelligence and functionality in a smaller footprint — all at a lower cost. As a result, NAI’s Integrated Vehicle Health and Monitoring Systems seamlessly integrate NAI’s high-density intelligent multifunction modules, which contain the highest packaging density and greatest flexibility of any multifunction I/O board in the industry. The intelligent, multifunction embedded modules interface and drive local vehicle functions based on sensor data, which is delivered via flexible I/O and communication interfaces.
NAI’s rugged IVHM systems are ruggedized to withstand -40 to +71C and qualified to MIL-STD-1275D & MIL-STD-704A with 50ms holdup; MIL-STD-461F and MIL-STD-810G.
