Radar contract won by Kratos to support NSWCDD Radar Systems Division

SAN DIEGO. Kratos Defense & Security Solutions has landed a single-award contract in the amount of $67.5 million to provide engineering and technical support services to the Naval Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division (NSWCDD) Electromagnetic and Sensor Systems Department (B Department) through its Radar Systems Division (B40). Kratos will fulfill this contract through its Advanced Naval Weapon System Business Unit, a part of the Kratos Defense & Rocket Support Services Division.
Under the terms of the award, Kratos will provide radar system engineering and technical support services at NSWCDD test facilities, at Kratos facilities, and in the field, in the areas of development and analysis, systems engineering, software development, antenna design, signal processing, radar operation, and test and evaluation.
These services, according to Kratos oficials, will be provided in support of existing, near-term and out-year projects/programs, technology development, technology insertions, prototyping and technology demonstrations, and related acquisition efforts.
The contract was signed for a base year and four one-year options.
