U.S. Navy tasked ManTech for support services with acoustics trials data for submarine & surface ships

FAIRFAX, Va. U.S. Navy officials selected ManTech International Corp.'s engineers to support the Naval Submarine and Surface Signature Silencing programs at Puget Sound. Under contract, engineers will provide technical and support services, including collection, reduction, analysis, and reporting of acoustics trials data for submarine and surface ships. The contract has an estimated ceiling value of $47 million.
ManTech will also provide assessments of current measurement procedures for acoustic and special trials, as well as related studies in the assessment of noise measurement systems. The cost-plus-incentive-fee task order has a 12-month base period of performance, two 12-month option periods, and two 12-month award terms.
