Phase noise analyzer and VCO tester announced at IMS 2015

PHOENIX. Rhode & Schwarz FSWP’s phase noise analyzer and VCO tester was announced at the International Microwave Symposium (IMS) 2015 show this week. The R&S FSWP enables ultrasensitive and ultra-fast phase noise measurements. It also has the option of being upgraded to a signal and spectrum analyzer.
The R&S FSWP can measure the signal sources of generators, synthesizers, and voltage-controlled oscillators (VCO). It covers frequency range up to 50 GHz. Coupled with the cross-correlation, the low phase noise of its local oscillator makes it possible to measure signal sources that had required test setups in the past.
The digital signal processing of the R&S FSWP features a touch screen that with a push button can take measurements.
