Counter-unmanned aerial system support contract signed by Liteye Systems, DoD

Liteye containerized counter-UAS system

CENTENNIAL, Colo. Counter-unmanned aerial system (CUAS) provider Liteye Systems has entered into a follow-on contract worth $2 million with the U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) to provide service and support for deployed CUASs.

According to the award announcement, Liteye’s CUAS solutions enable users to layer multiple capabilities to detect, track,identify, and defeat a wide range of malicious small UAS threats in the field. One of the variants is the containerized system, which features a state-of-the-art operator suite optimized for use in any climate, and which is easily movable between locations.  

Kenneth Geyer, CEO and cofounder of Liteye Systems, also said that the company is constantly adding capabilities to remain effective against the evolving CUAS threat.
