National security customers order $14.5 million in unmanned aerial drone systems

SAN DIEGO. National-security solutions provider Kratos Defense & Security Solutions has received $14.5 million in contract awards for eight high-performance, jet-powered unmanned aerial drone systems plus associated communication, ground control, and related systems from unnamed national-security-related customers.
Kratos provides jet-powered unmanned aerial drone systems for tactical and adversarial target and threat representation purposes.
The work done under the terms of the recent contracts will be performed at secure Kratos manufacturing facilities.
